"Discovering Jesus in the Patriarch's"

In this message, Andrew shows how the patriarch's prefigure Christ and how aspects of their lives reveal and point forward to Jesus. Jesus is the one through whom all the blessings of Abraham are fulfilled. He looks at the covenant that is made with Abraham in Genesis 15 and explains what is happening, why it is so astounding, and shows how it is fulfilled in Christ. Finally, he lands the plane on one of the toughest passages in Scripture: Abraham's offering up Issac. What God is doing here is quite different than one would assume, and ultimately this narrative shows us explicitly another "only beloved son" who walked the same hill with wood on his back, but who was ultimately not spared but was sacrificed for us all.
