The Independence of God

This morning we will be dealing with another incommunicable attribute of God, an attribute that he does not necessarily share with us, and really one that we have issues understanding because it is so far removed from our experience: God’s independence. God’s independence can be defined like this:
“God does not need us or the rest of creation for anything, yet we and the rest of creation can glorify him and bring him joy.”God is perfectly self-sufficient, not relying on anything or anyone outside of himself.
