"The Return of the King and the Restoration of All Things"

Today we finish up a quick overview of the book of Isaiah and next week we will begin another short journey into Jeremiah. We’ve been looking at the meta-narrative of Scripture in this book, Creation, fall, redemption, restoration, and Isaiah has been called the 5th gospel for a reason. God is glorious and man has fallen short of God’s glory and so stands under His righteous judgment, yet He has provided a way of salvation in his messiah and one day this messiah will return to make all things new. We’ve seen this message played out in Isaiah and this morning we will will focus on the last piece of it, the restoration of all things.
